Intentional Spending
In the midst of summer, I realized that our grocery spending was slowly creeping up. I overall try to buy many nourishing foods for the kids to snack on, but you will still find Goldfish crackers, chips, and cereal in our pantry. While I love my Family Wall app (not sponsored) for scheduling purposes, I have not mastered its use for meal planning and grocery prep. I am overall not a very tech-savvy person, so I prefer to have something handheld while I am learning a new technology. Still, I felt that none of the planners in stores or online were what I was looking for. So I worked on my own!

When I was looking for a planner, I wanted something simple I could use and look back on to reflect. I wanted something I could easily use to track my macros, as I am trying to ensure I get enough protein in my diet. I want to be able to see what worked well for myself and my family, and what didn’t.
That’s why on the second page of the week, I added a large “Notes” section. I wanted space that I could quickly write down – “Tuesday’s dinner big hit” or “Saturday breakfast not a fan” or even “Monday’s meals made me feel full all day”. As a busy working mom, I need simplicity in my life.

Later this month, I will be posting a video of exactly how I use this planner to my benefit. While it is a simple planner, some ways to use it make my grocery shopping experience even better! Get your copy of the planner now, and look out for more information on the tutorial.
